Conference: Greece and Europe - 50 Years of common course

On May 31, 2012, the Hellenic University Association for European Studies, in collaboration with the National and Capodistrian University of Athens (European Centre of Excellence, Jean Monnet) and the Panteion University, organized, with the support of the Representation of the European Commission in Greece, a conference entitled: "1962-2012: 50 years of European course for Greece". The goal of the seminar was to report the happenings during the last half century and gaze the future possibilities. Euractiv was the communication sponsor.

The seminar took place in the the "Giannos Kranidiotis" amphitheatre, in the building of the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Akadimias street, 1, in the centre of Athens). It was organized with the opportunity of the completion of half a century of common course between Greece and what would eventually become the European Union. The goal was to present a report of this partnership, 50 years after the signing of the Agreement of Connection with the European Economic Community and highlight the perspective of this course for the future.
